Stalk ‘n’ SlashCinema :: Close Your Eyes for a Second … And Sleep Forever! (July, 1982)

Roger Corman exploited many a genre over the years, some better than others. The Slumber Party Massacre is a complete goof with a refreshing all-female twist behind and (mostly) in front of the camera. I had fond memories of it, but when I dusted it off and showed some friends awhile back it landed with a thud. That’s me shrugging right now. Could be worse, though. Could be Sorority House Massacre. *bleaurgh*

I have an unreasonable fondness for Hell Night, but I’ve yet to see Slumber Party Massacre. Probably the most prominent hole in my slasher film viewing next to never having seen even on Chucky movie.
